Our approach

A person sets the plan. Technology keeps the record.

Every child with autism is different, and no software can know a child the way a person does.

(01)Our approach

Every child with autism is different, and no software can know a child the way a person does. That is why every therapy plan at Mayrah is set by our Principal Consultant, based on detailed assessment and her own observation of your child in session.

Technology does the work around that. It keeps a precise record, so nothing depends on memory or scattered notes. It also gives your family a clear view of what is happening and what comes next.

“The goal was never to find what is wrong with your child. It is to understand your child better.”

Five ways technology supports your family

01

Your own family login

Follow your child’s therapy from your phone. See upcoming sessions, a monthly calendar, attendance and hours for the month, and fee status. If you need a different day or time, send a request from the login instead of chasing anyone by phone.

A functional assessment built on 648 skills

Every child begins with a comprehensive functional assessment. It covers 10 areas of development and 29 specific skill groups, from communication, imitation and play to motor skills, school readiness, academics and daily living.

Within each group, skills move from Basic to Intermediate to Advanced. For each of the 648 skills, we record whether your child:

  • does it on their own
  • does it with support
  • is still emerging

We also ask you about the same skill at home, so the picture combines what we see in session with what you see in daily life.

The result is a detailed baseline. It is never overwritten, so every report shows honestly how far your child has come from the starting point.

The ten areas we assess

  1. 01Communication
  2. 02Social and Participation
  3. 03Imitation and Motor Learning
  4. 04Foundational Learning
  5. 05Foundational Participation
  6. 06School Readiness and Participation
  7. 07Cross-Domain Learning
  8. 08Adaptive Living
  9. 09Motor
  10. 10Academics (English, Hindi and Mathematics)

03

A clear record of goals and independence

Each goal is recorded as achieved, in progress or not yet started. Alongside it, we record how independently your child can do the skill. Therapists update progress every week, so the record is always current. Your child’s goals are chosen and confirmed by our Principal Consultant. Only she can mark a goal as achieved.

04

An Achievement Report every three months

Every three months you receive a report you can read in a few minutes. It shows:

  • 01where your child started, area by area
  • 02how far they have come, with simple “at the start” and “now” charts
  • 03the new skills your child now does on their own
  • 04an overall summary written in plain language
  • 05things to try at home, chosen for your child

The report is built from the progress recorded week by week. Our Principal Consultant reviews and approves it before it reaches you, and you receive it as a printed copy or a PDF.

Check your child’s development with MDAS

Not sure where your child stands? MDAS, our online screening tool, helps parents see how a child is developing across key areas, and take the next step with confidence. You can use it from home, at any time.

MDAS is a screening guide and not a diagnosis. A diagnosis can only come from a qualified clinician. If the screening raises questions, our team will talk through the next step with you.

(04)Your child’s information

We take care with your child’s information.

  1. 01Access is through a personal login.
  2. 02Each therapist sees only the children assigned to them.
  3. 03Attendance and payment records are kept as a history, so records are not quietly changed.
  4. 04Your child’s reports are shared with you and not with anyone else.

Questions parents ask

Something else on your mind? Call us on 98701 63173.

01Does AI decide my child’s therapy?

No. Every plan is set by our Principal Consultant, based on assessment and her own observation of your child. Our software keeps records organised. It does not make clinical decisions.

02What does the functional assessment cover?

648 skills across 10 areas of development, grouped into 29 skill groups. Each skill is rated at one of three levels of independence, so we can see exactly what your child can do on their own and where they need support.

03What can I see in my family login?

Your child’s session schedule, attendance, hours for the month and fee status. You can also request a change of day or time. Your child’s progress is shared in the three-month report, and the team will always explain it to you in person.

04Is my child’s report only numbers?

No. The charts show the picture at a glance, and the summary and home suggestions are written in plain language for you.

05What if my child does not make progress in some areas?

Every child moves at their own pace. The report shows each area honestly, and the plan is reviewed with you so the next three months focus where your child needs support most.

06Is MDAS a diagnosis?

No. It is a guide to where your child is developing well and where they may need support. A diagnosis comes from a qualified clinician.

07How do I get my family login?

It is created for you when your child joins Mayrah, and our team will show you how to use it on your first visit.
